PROJECT OVERVIEW
K.L.W. Design Co. is a local floral company that services all events and parties. Where there is a floral or botanical need, they are there. Katey and Leigh Waddington just opened their first floral destination boutique shop in the heart of Watch Hill, RI. They had come to me in hopes to create an oversized poster that would help customers understand what they offer. As well as a small shelf sign that has the same task. Together, we collaborated to create a minimal chic poster that will hang on their checkout counter and the small information sigh to reside on
their shelfs.
SERVICES
COLOR
Flowers come in all sorts of colors imaginable. For the color palette of the signage, we wanted there to be a minimal color palette to compliment the flowers that will be presented in the store. The use of a grey-white and muted black are cohesive with the white walls and deep black trim color of their new botanical destination shop front.
TYPOGRAPHY
The aesthetic K.L.W. Design Co was looking for was chic and elegance. In order to make this happen, we used Fiona, for the main typeface. As for an accompanying typeface, we went with MillerBanner in both regular and italicized to be used for descriptive and call out text.
ELEMENTS
K.L.W. Design Co. came to me with these beautiful flower elements that they had found, and wanted to use them. These flowers are very detailed, and in order to keep the chic, elegant, and minimal aesthetic they were looking for,
I decided that less is more.
